A good hospital for eye checkups and surgeries. Many of my relatives had their cataract removed at this place and generally have given positive reviews of their experiences. This place accepts cashless hospitalizations for surgeries and deal with insurance issues themselves and able to provide 100% coverages for surgeries. The OPD experience is very methodical too and appointment times are maintained in a pretty good manner. It could be better to see working airconditioning in working areas as the place gets too crowded and becomes very uncomfortable on a hot and humid day, especially for older patients.

Disha eye hospital, Durgapur is a good hospital for eye. But some problems are (1) Parking: Some persons are demanding parking charges FORCEFULLY in the name of ADDA even in case of only dropping or only pick up. Disha authority, Durgapur may discuss with local administration/police about (a) their actual parking area (b) not to disturb patient party who are only dropping or pick up (c) not to disturb cars parked outside their actual parking area. (2) OPD patient timing: Long time is being taken to complete the appointment from allotted time.

Horrible Experience with Disha Durgapur. They provide appointment time 10am but you won't get chance to consultant with doctor untill 3pm. Huge huge waiting time. Totally disappointing experience all the time visited since past 2 Years. It's totally Management Failure. They call lot of people for the same slot and unable to manage the patients. Total day get wasted just for one consultation. With appointment people are facing this kind of issue. Without appointment for any emergency please imagine yourself. Even it's not easy to get appointment, too much waiting for the appointment as well. Whenever I visited I always returned with so much frustation. I had to visit becaus less Retina doctors are available near by. Management please take care of the matter seriously. Respect Patient and Patient Party's time. Either bring more doctors to mange the patients or don't allow so many patients on same day so that everyone consultants peacefully. Also I don't understand same day one doctor is managing OT as well as OPD. In between doctor goes for OT patient report check and all which again create huge delays. It's unnecessary harrasment for patient and patient parties. This is not acceptable at all. Please take care this matter to provide better service.

One of the best eye hospital in this region. They have many branches. All the doctor's are very good. The staffs are very very helpful & polite in nature. All the machinea are upto date. Lots of restaurant in front of the hospital.

Good eye treatment at a reasonable price. Access is easy from. Many good doctor like Kushal Banerjee, Smriti Santhalia, Ipsita Basu treat here. Cataract, Glaucoma, other normal eye treatment available here. Cataract OT price range started from approx 6000-7000 .

Rude doctor. Dr. Mrinmoy Dey easily gets offended by simple questions of patient. He needs to understand that the patients are layman and may ask silly questions which may be the genuine doubts of a patient. He must not derive conclusions. This was our first visit which was a bad experience. We had high hopes from Disha Eye Hospital Durgapur.

Well equipped eye hospital with well known doctors and well behaved staffs in Asansol Durgapur region in an affordable price ( 200/- for normal eye check up with opthalmologists and doctors).This hospital is 650 meters away from City Centre Durgapur.Auto and Toto facility is also available, ample space for car parking.

One of the best affordable eye hospital in Bengal and Jharkhand region for the middle class families. The hospital is equipped with all the latest technologies and equipment. Well qualified & experienced doctors are available round the clock. Best part is telephonic appointment facility is also available for the patients. Medicine shop and a small canteen is also available inside the building. Location is easily accessible from Gandhi More (NH). Parking space is available near the hospital.
